Co-op Local Community Fund Supports Bath City Foundation

Bath City Foundation are greatful for the Co-op Local Community Fund, which supports our together projects. Our Together project supports young people in the areas of Twerton and Weston, where there are often instances of anti-social behaviour, allowing them to engage in football and other sport.

Twerton Together - Mondays at Pennyquick Park, 4:30 - 5:30, excluding bank holidays.

Weston Together - Thursday from 4.30pm - 5.30pm at Weston Youth Hub.

We are working in two communities that have asked for support to provide positive opportunities for young people. Our Together sessions aim to improve community cohesion by offering young people a safe place to play football or other sport. Many of these young people face challenging circumstances and we offer weekly sessions to engage with other young children in the community as well as Bath City Foundation staff offering them positive role models. We have worked closely with other local organisations who have identified the need for this activity and the chance to engage with not only the young people but also their families, to ensure we provide the right opportunities on the right days at the right time.

Open to anyone aged 8 - 16 years old. This is an hour of free football for young people in this area. This session has proved popular, so you will have plenty of others to have a kick around with. Our Twerton & Weston Together Sessions are further supported by Anthem Publishing.
