Bereavement Help Point

What to Expect

A friendly, supportive drop-in session for anyone coping with bereavement.

Grief can feel overwhelming, isolating and unpredictable — but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our Bereavement Help Point group offers a gentle, understanding space to meet others who are also grieving, share experiences at your own pace, and find comfort in compassionate company.

❋ Trained Facilitators

Specially trained volunteer facilitators are on hand if you’d like someone to talk to, or if you need guidance and support during this difficult time.

❋Who can come?

Anyone who is grieving the loss of someone close is welcome — whether you’d like to join us for a short time or stay for the whole session. Family and friends supporting someone who is bereaved are also warmly invited.

❋ What does it cost?

All sessions are free to attend with no need to book. You do not have to commit to coming every week; your attendance is completely up to you.

❋ A Supportive Space

This is a space where you lead the conversation, and we listen and support. Coming along doesn’t mean you have to talk about your bereavement, if you want to discuss the weather or pass the time playing one of a range of games we have available, including shuffleboard, cards, or dominos then this is the space for you.

If you are unable to attend the Twerton Bereavement Help Point, please take a look at the various locations where Bereavement Help Points are delivered.
