After the demand for places last year, we have secured 30 places for the Bath Half Marathon.

This year it’s over to you!

Last year, we were lucky to have Bath City Manager Darren Way and club legend Jim Rollo run for us in the Bath Half. This was our first year fundraising through the event, and the donations received far exceeded our expectations.

Thanks to the money raised last year, we can now offer 30 places to try to meet the demand we had in the run-up to the event. If you are interested in running the Bath Half and raising money for Bath City FC Foundation, please fill in the expression of interest form.

Why Run For Us?

As a charity in the heart of Twerton, we work within one of the most deprived areas in the country. Your donations will allow us to use our Foundation space to deliver projects in an area where they are needed, which includes social inclusion groups, health and wellbeing interventions, and education. This year, the donations have enabled us to run pilot projects and react to the need for more staff due to an increase in participant numbers at the sessions we deliver. All funds raised go directly to the Foundation and help to continue the delivery of our community projects.

Last year, we engaged with over 3,998 members of our community in Twerton and the wider BaNES area. Our Foundation is often overlooked because of the international image of Bath as an extremely affluent area. This leaves many unaware of the need for our provision.

Our work goes beyond football. We work with people aged between 3 and 98! We deliver sessions in schools, crime prevention workshops, 1-2-1 mentoring, pan-disability sessions, walking football, social inclusion for seniors, and women’s and girls’ participation. Our aim is to enable positive change in our community which improves residents’ mental and physical health and wellbeing. Funding is extremely hard to come by for organisations like ours, so every £1 you raise will make a real difference!
