Football for All
Football for All is a National League Trust funded project that is about encouraging healthy & active lifestyles and developing confidence & self-esteem. Within this project we offer a variety of courses for all age ranges to support people’s physical and mental well-being. This is a school and community based project for residents of Bath and its surrounding areas.
Swallow
We run a weekly session with Swallow charity to support adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. These sessions take place at Chilcompton Village hall on Monday from 6.15pm – 7.15pm. (closed group for those involved with Swallow)
Bath Mind
A weekly session outdoor based at Bath Rec to provide football activities to support people with their mental and physical well-being. Run in partnership with Bath Mind. Sessions run on a Thursday from 6pm-7pm. Contact Geoff on info@bathcityfoundation.org. for more details on how to get involved.
Women’s Only Football Sessions
Fun, women only football sessions. These are currently run at Odd Down Sprots Centre on a Monday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm We now have 35+ members in the group. Reconnecting Twerton
Reconnecting Twerton is a digital inclusion project supporting older people to get on-line and feel more digitally connected. The project is aimed at reducing isolation and supporting older people’s mental and physical well-being. Premier League Primary Stars
The Premier League primary stars programme is focused on ensuring that all primary aged children are physically active through greater access to sport both in and out of school. The programme supports and empowers primary schools in engaging young people in sport and physical activity through PE lessons, extra-curricular clubs, Intra and Inter school sports events/competitions. Wildcats
Wildcat sessions are run on Wednesday from 4.15pm – 5pm. They are aimed at beginners and open to girls from 5-11 years who want to come and play football. Sessions cost £2 as a contribution towards costs. Man V Fat
Bath City Foundation work closely with Man v Fat to support the Man v Fat league. The league is run in conjunction with the Man v Fat weight loss programme. The league takes place on a Monday evening from 8.30pm – 9.30pm at Odd Down Sports Centre. This is a 14 week weight loss league for males 18+ with a BMI of 27+. Inclusion Sessions
We currently run a number of inclusion sessions that are funded through Wesport.
We are working in partnership with Avon & Somerset police to help work with young people who may be at risk or involved with anti-social behaviour. We run workshops throughout the year in Secondary schools with the aim of educating young people around various lifestyle choices & consequences.
At Southside Youth Centre we run a dodgeball / multi sport session on a Thursday evening from 7.30pm – 8.30pm for 14 – 19 year olds living in the Twerton community. These sessions are free of charge.
On a Tuesday evening from 4pm – 6pm we are working in partnership with Young Bristol to run youth sessions in Keynsham. This is funded through the Crime Prevention through Sport fund in conjunction with Wesport. The session consists of a variety of sports on offer and a chillout space on the Young Bristol Youth bus where young people can have their own space and feel free to engage in a variety of activities or just share a conversation. The project started in June 2021 and runs until November 2021.

School Lunchtime and Afterschool Sessions
The Foundation runs a number of tailor-made sessions for primary and secondary schools during the lunchtime and after school. These sessions use football to increase physical activity and promote mental well-being and are focused on the needs identified by the school. Holiday Courses
The Foundation is currently running a number of holiday sessions for young people aged from 6 to 12 years. Sessions run from 10am-2pm and are based at facilities around Bath and Banes.
