Foundation Launches Men’s Mental Health Workshops

Bath City FC Foundation are hosting free to attend Mental Health Workshops for Men thanks to funding from Movember and a partnership with Beyond Equality. The workshops are the first stage of extending the Health & Wellbeing offering around mental health and hopes to encourage men that are not attracted to our current offering to engage with us in understanding more around mental health. These will be held over the first three weeks of February with all workshops lasting two hours between 6pm & 8pm. Please see the poster for further details.

To book onto these workshops please call our Wellbeing Officer Chris on 07939010838 or email Chris@Bathcityfoundation.org

In April we will be launching a mental wellbeing session open to anyone over the age of 18, the session will consist of an hour of football-based activity along with an hour off the pitch giving people the chance to talk, this group aims to help increase peer support while offering clinical support from our partner on this project Go Again. Go Again is a local Mental Health Charity that supports football clubs from grassroots all the way through to professional football with Mental Health Support. Our Wellbeing Officer, Chris has worked with them before when he established a similar group with his previous employer as part of his studies. All the finer details will be released closer to the launch, but we are very excited to get this off the ground having seen the impact it can have on people that attend these types of sessions.
