Foundation & Family Day 2023

Bath City FC and Bath City FC Foundation hosted this years Foundation & Family Day on Saturday 18th March.

This event is aimed at enabling more families and young people to have a great football experience at Twerton Park and was made possible by funding provided by a new partnership with The Roper Family Charitable Trust. The day involved lots of children’s activities including face painting and our inflatable speed radar goal. Charlie’s bar was packed with local families, with children trying to kick the ball as fast as they could into the goal. The Club’s mascot, Bladud the pig, made an appearance and spent the afternoon taking photos with everyone and cheering on Bath City FC.

The Foundation’s special guests from St Michael’s Junior School enjoyed the match in the new Roper Family Charitable Trust family stand and the SWALLOW Charity football group took part in a five-a-side game on the pitch at half-time. We were delighted to hear that both had a great day.

Despite an unfortunate 3-1 loss to St. Albans City, a total of 1,390 fans enjoyed the sunshine and activities. Foundation & Family Day was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone involved and in attendance on the day for making this possible.
